The Elementary School Drama Festival for Districts 17 and 18 was held May 8 and 9 at the Minto Memorial High School. The drama group from McAdam Avenue attended May 9 and performed their play entitled Tim and Paul. They wrote the play themselves during 2 lunch meetings per week from January to March. During the month of April, they rehearsed. The group performed the play May 9 for the students of McAdam Avenue School and then travelled to Minto to perform in the Drama Festival. The group was awarded a special Adjudicator's award for writing their own play.
